Texas A&M vs. Kansas Game

Our last game of the year, versus Kansas. We were outscored but had a good time. We stayed in the "Worleybago" and tailgated with Pete Velesky, Dave Zuehlke and others. The Worley's left with two new puppies.

This is a pic from the top of the Worleybago.

Texas State Fair 2007

An annual tradition, go to the State Fair of Texas. It lasts for 4 or 5 weeks in downtown Dallas. Some of the highlights are the midway, the Texas vs. OU football game, the corn dogs, the auto show etc.

Below: Big Tex, who has greeted fair goers for over 50 years, and the Texas Star ferris wheel, which stands year round.

Below: Some good German sausage is in attendance, and of course the Cotton Bowl stadium.

One of the traditions is trying out the fried food. Here Kelli tries the deep fried cookie dough, while Kristi models the fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

The only place to get a Fletchers corndog is at the fair. They are awesome. You can't eat just one. Last year they started carrying the jalopeno / cheese corn dogs. Amazing. The other pic is of one of the free concerts. This is Gary P. Nunn singing "What I like about Texas"!

This is the view outside of the auto show, and another pic of another food pavilion.

I thought a couple of ride pictures would be fun. The forehead on Magnun P.I. intrigued me. The other ride was a story in itself. The "husbands" decided to do one ride. It was $10. The other wives didn't want them to risk their lives, but of course I guilted everyone into joining me. I've jumped out of airplanes and been on some crazy stuff, but this one was probably one of the worst. I couldn't get off of it fast enough.

Finally, this is a picture of some of the midway and the games along it. Good for people watching.

A&M vs. Oklahoma State Univ. Game

Chris pulled the bachelor game trip for the OSU game. Tailgating was held at the "short bus" with friends Mark Worley, Pete Velesky, and others. I also stopped by our Dallas Crew tailgate. We won!

Texas A&M vs. Baylor Game

We attended the A&M vs. Baylor game in College Station. As usual, we set up a little tailgate prior to gametime. The usual suspects were present, along with some old college buddies (Mark Worley, Baine Phillipi and Coy Meyring).
