Thanksgiving 2007

Here are a few pics from our whirlwind Thanksgiving trip to see family in West Texas. We started in Lubbock, then up to Happy, then down to Tulia and then back to Lubbock. We ate, hunted, relaxed and braved a snowstorm on the way home. It was a great time and well worth the road miles. The baby is Phillip and Stefanie's new daughter, Danielle. If you can't tell in some of the snow, that is cotton that is ready for picking.

Fall Trip to New England

This was our "leaf peeping" trip to New England this fall. We started in Boston, traveled up into the Lakes region of New Hampshire (near Lake Winnaupausakee), then over to the Maine coast and South to the Rhode Island coast. We spent 2 nights in Newport RI. The scenery was awesome, the culture cool and the microbrews sweet. Below, there is a picture of the Bush compound at Kennebunkport, ME. I thought that it was very cool that the Texas flag was flying on the flag pole. Some of the pics are from the huge mansions in Newport RI.
