Christmas 2007

Christmas 2007 in both Lubbock (Poteet) and Dallas (Pearson) was quite the weeklong feat. After a weekend of hunting, I followed my parents to Lubbock to participate in the Poteet Christmas which was really held on Christmas eve.

These 2 pictures (above) are of niece Danielle (Phillip and Stefanie's daughter) and my dad. Danielle was what Phillip called "baby in a box" while we opened our gifts. Dad was spirited enough to continue the tradition of having to wear the santa hat if you choose to hand out gifts.

Above - Phillip and Danielle. Also, my Grandmother holding Danielle. So she would be Danielle's 94 year young great-grandmother.

Above- Grandmother Becky showing Danielle how to count and choose colors.
Below- After Christmas even in Lubbock, I drove back to Dallas (same day) and prepared for Christmas with Kristi's family. Due to her sister's family having to travel to Kansas, we scheduled ours for the 30th of December. Below is the family photo in our house in Dallas. Kristi's parents (Greg and Karron), her sister and husband (Kim and Nate) and their new son (Hunter). There is also a picture of one of Greg's new gifts. This is the box that he will put on the dock at the lake house. It's for storing fishing gear, boating gear and other odds and ends.

Below- Our compliments to the cook, Kristi. The rest of the family is at the dinner table waiting on the picture. And yes mom, I have a dab of yams on the plate.

Below- Here is Hunter in his first "hunting" hat.
