We had the annual Hoppin' John and Gumbo football watching suare at our house. Kristi cooked up a ton of shrimp gumbo and hoppin' john, which is a mix of rice, sausage, black eyed peas and some other various ingredients. My job was to keep people entertained and hold down the couch in front of the big screen showing football. Unfortunately below is the only picture we have from the day. Chris Halpin could not be in town, so Jimbo and I took it upon ourselves to introduce little Will Halpin to New Years Day college football.
