2 months down and 1200 to go

It's been a "fun-filled" two months and we don't seem to remember what we were doing 3 months ago.... We have learned that our "to-do" lists need to be retired until Avery is at least 18 years old and we have her in college.

Perspectives have been amended over the last 2 months. My brother and I were at the local mall last Saturday. After we commented on the group of girls having a Hanna Montana birthday party, we observed some of the high school girls dressed just about like Paris Hilton. We both confirmed that our plan is to dress our daughters as amish peasants, again, until at least 18. We have yet to discuss this plan with our wives.

These are just a few random pics from the last month. Avery seems to always be happy on her changing table.

Mom, Dixie and Avery finishing out a night at the house in the TV room.

This is Avery following one of her favorite pastimes, the bath!

Something about breastmilk seems to put her into this state. It must have the same ingredient as Jack Daniels. Of course, I don't speak from first hand knowledge.

Dixie had to check up on Avery and give her seal of approval, much to Avery's chagrin.

St. Patty's Day. Avery was in full celebration mode, with both outfits.

These are a few pics from Easter Sunday. It was quite laid back, since it was a little soon to challenge the church crowd. So we went to some friend's house, ate and watched sports.....as usual.

This is Avery and Preston. Preston is Jimbo and Kelli's son, who was born on the same day, same hospital, exact same weight etc. And mom's were roomates when we were dating.... Strange....

This is Easter Avery's best "Kung Fu" / Jet Li interpretation. Enter the Dragon!

My brother, Phillip, was in town this weekend. He just finished his 3 month Army course in Huntsville, AL and is on the way back to Lubbock to pick up the family and move to El Paso for a couple of years. This was his first time to meet Avery and vice versa.

We visited Michel Ann and Troy Coleman on Sunday. This is their new daughter Brynn. Kristi went to high school and A&M with Michael Ann.
